FAQ

Quick answers about how Humanoid Network works and what's live today.

What is Humanoid Network?

Humanoid Network is the motion data layer for Physical AI. You create robot motions, Hydra scores them against physics, and accepted motions join a verified library that robots can learn from.

What can I do in the app today?

Three things, all from your browser:

  • Create: generate robot motions from approved prompts in the simulator.
  • Browse: explore proofed motions, Hydra scores, replays, and contributors.
  • Dataset: inspect the Foundation Dataset behind Hydra.

Do I need my own wallet?

Yes. You connect an existing EVM wallet (such as MetaMask, Coinbase Wallet, or any WalletConnect-compatible mobile wallet) and sign in with it. The app doesn't create a wallet for you. See Getting Started.

Can I write any prompt I want?

Not yet. The app uses approved prompts for now; free-form prompts aren't open as the default experience.

What is Hydra?

Hydra is the validation layer. It scores each generated motion against physics and records quality signals like stability, tracking quality, foot skate, and validation tier. See Hydra Proof.

What is the Foundation Dataset?

An independent corpus of 46,893 episodes that gives Hydra its context. It's separate from the motions contributors generate. See Foundation Dataset.

What chain do you use during testing?

Base Sepolia, for proof and protocol-readiness rehearsal. These are testnet records.

Is the HAN token live yet?

Not yet. HAN launches on Base at the token generation event (TGE). Until that official contract is live and verified, the app keeps all token features off. That's deliberate: we won't show token actions we can't yet verify. See HAN Token.

Do testnet records become mainnet benefits?

Not automatically. Base Sepolia records are rehearsal records. They don't guarantee mainnet value, allocation, or future treatment.

Are rewards live?

Not yet. Reward claims and protocol reward payouts are off in the current app. Motions you proof now may inform future protocol eligibility once those features launch.

Are Motion Credits live?

Not yet. Motion Credits turn on after launch, once capacity, proof, and anti-abuse checks are ready.

Is veHAN live?

Not yet. veHAN lets you lock HAN to earn reward weight and epoch participation rights. It goes live after launch, alongside the other token features.
