FAQ

Quick answers about how Humanoid Network works and what's live today.

What is Humanoid Network?

Humanoid Network is the motion data layer for Physical AI. You create robot motions, Hydra scores them against physics, and accepted motions join a verified library that robots can learn from.

What can I do in the app today?

Three things, all from your browser:

  • Create: generate robot motions from approved prompts in the simulator.
  • Browse: explore proofed motions, Hydra scores, replays, and contributors.
  • Dataset: inspect the Foundation Dataset behind Hydra.

Do I need my own wallet?

Yes. You connect an existing EVM wallet (such as MetaMask, Coinbase Wallet, or any WalletConnect-compatible mobile wallet) and sign in with it. The app doesn't create a wallet for you. See Getting Started.

Can I write any prompt I want?

Not yet. The app uses approved prompts for now; free-form prompts aren't open as the default experience.

What is Hydra?

Hydra is the validation layer. It scores each generated motion against physics and records quality signals like stability, tracking quality, foot skate, and validation tier. See Hydra Proof.

What is the Foundation Dataset?

It contains 46,893 real egocentric videos captured by the Humanoid Network community, representing more than 103 million frames. We use this corpus to build the HanVerse world foundation model and Hydra validation stack. The Dataset tab is a read-only view of the captured source corpus, separate from the app's current simulated Motions feed. See Foundation Dataset.

What chain do you use during testing?

Robinhood Chain Testnet, for proof and protocol-readiness rehearsal. These are testnet records.

Is the HAN token live yet?

Yes. HAN is live on Robinhood Chain. You can buy HAN and lock it for veHAN on the Get $HAN page. Staking and veHAN reward-weight tracking are live today. HAN reward claims open later, after the Protocol Rewards allocation begins vesting and the required calculation, review, and funding checks pass. See HAN Token.

Do testnet records become mainnet benefits?

Not automatically. Robinhood Chain Testnet records are rehearsal records. They don't guarantee mainnet value, allocation, or future treatment.

Is staking live, and when can I claim rewards?

Staking is live now. When you lock HAN, you receive veHAN and the system records your active veHAN reward weight.

HAN claims open later. Protocol Rewards are expected to begin vesting on July 15, 2027. Eligible motion contributions and veHAN weight will then be used to determine allocations. The exact calculation will be published before claims open. Testnet and automated motions do not qualify, and no APY or payout is guaranteed.

Are Motion Credits live?

No. Motion Credits are a separate future feature. They are not required to lock HAN, receive veHAN, or record veHAN reward weight.

Is veHAN live?

Yes. Mainnet veHAN locking is live on the Get $HAN page. Your HAN remains in the vault for the term you choose, and longer terms create more veHAN per HAN. The system records your active veHAN reward weight now. After maturity, withdraw your original HAN through the staking card and the matching veHAN is burned. HAN claims open only after Protocol Rewards begin vesting and the required allocation and funding checks pass.
